Hunters Chapel Holy Church of Christ

*Continue to pray for our Cross Project.

 ~ The main objective of Hunters Chapel Church is to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ and we believe that this Cross will be a show of faith and hope to thousands who pass by everyday while traveling through Walker County and Jasper, Alabama.  Hunters Chapel is still very much interested and active in helping the needy through mission efforts and outreach.  Whenever situations are brought to our attention, the deacons respond in whatever way our Church can help individuals.  That will not change.  The Cross is in addition to our responsibility to feed the hungry and help with other physical needs.
Once the Cross is up, it will serve as a witness of Jesus' love to the world and we believe it will be something that will draw a lot of people to His saving grace, which is the most urgent need of our society.  Please remember us in your prayers as we take this step of faith.

*We need a volunteer to be the Reporter for Hunters Chapel Church to "The Way of the Cross" monthly newsletter which is published in Decatur, Alabama.  This may be done over email to Jo Tucker (the editor).  Please ask God if this job is right for you and let Brenda know as soon as possible.  If you do not currently get the newsletter, you can sign up with a $12.00 yearly charge.  It is well worth the price.
